Adorable

Let the Sea set you free for Creative Embellishments

I enjoy going thru some of my old pictures and found this fun one taken about 7 years ago during a wonderful vacation in Virginia Beach.
The 2nd inspiration for this page, was this lovely quote on the Kaisercraft paper collection: Let the sea set you free !
I truly love the nautical collection of chipboards, they are so perfect for beach vacation pages. Once again, I loved the look of the natural chipboards with this color combination.
The first set used is the Nautical Compass

The second chipboard is from the beautiful french word set Ahoy Matey French words set
The third chipboard is this beautiful Circle Doodle Frame:
Thanks for stopping by, I wish you lots of creative inspiration in your projects.

Lovely - June Lyndy's Stamp Gang challenge entry

My inspiration for this beautiful color combo was this stunning picture of my niece with her lovely belly in this field of flowers. She is 8 months pregnant with her second child, a son and she is just a radiant beauty.

I just love how this page turned out. I wanted a soft page. I used this lovely 7 dots studio paper. Then added some mixtures of ink with the following colors:

I used the same colors to paint my 49 and market embossed flowers:

I wanted to add brilliance, so I added touches of embossing on my page and on my tags:

Here is the June moodboard:

Lindy's Color Challenge

Combo project for Cuts2luv

Have you ever had a project that you started and did not like? Well this is the case for this upcoming project. My friend Caroline started this Mixed-Media canvas and once she had everything set-up and gessoed, she wanted to trash it.

So if you love the foundation of the project, well, I had nothing to do with this one. My only  input was adding the shading and the finishing touches, but I love how it turned out.

Don't you just love the Tom Holtz quote set ?

I started the foundation with Caribbean blue Lindy's spray, then for shading I used Tweedle Dee Denim and touches of Blazing Black.

Here are a few more detailed pictures

Now this butterfly on the dark blue is just WOW !

This beautiful badge are made with hand painted water color images by our friend Valerie. They are AMAZING !

I hope I've inspired you to go shopping, so head on over to the Etsy store, you'll find this one and many more: STORE

Trésor for Creative Embellishments

Good morning everyone, it's my turn again to provide some inspiration for your crafty pleasures. Today I'd love to share with you one of my most favorite chippies. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE adding them to my travel pages. They've almost become a must have on my craft table. Once again, here is a page done with the globe chipboard.

To start my page, I used watercolor paper. Then I stamped a floral patterned image. I added touched of color with my Lindy's Stamp gang sprays to create a beautiful watercolor background. Then I used the same stamp on regular card-stock and cut out some of the flowers. I mounted them on dimension stickers to give some depth.
Again, I chose to use my chipboard in the natural state. I always work in sets of 3, so in this case, I have the globe, the title and my tag cord that have the same color as the chipboard. I love how soft and easy this is on the eyes.
Here are a few more pictures to show the details:
Here you can see how I layered my paper and standard flowers:
I've focused the title on the top part of my picture, I think the size of this title chipboard is perfect for layering on pictured or working on projects such as Project Life.
This word set is in french :  Ahoy Matey French Word Set
And my favorite set, this 3 inch globe
I hope you enjoyed my page, thanks for stopping by !
